Dr. Derek Kent, MD

Derek Kent, MD grew up in Marysville, Washington before moving to Southeast Idaho in 2010 to attend Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology.

He attended Medical College of Wisconsin for his medical degree and returned to Southeast Idaho in 2021 for his residency training in Family Medicine with Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Dr. Kent is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Kent's Personal Life

Dr. Kent is married to an Idaho Falls native and they have 5 energetic children. He enjoys various activities including long-distance running, reading, as well as hobbies in music production, and painting abstract impressionist landscapes in acrylic and watercolor.
